U13-U19 Recreational Full-Sided Fall Soccer Program

Recreation soccer is for older players who are ready for full-sided soccer. They play 11v11 and adhere all of the Laws of the Game. As the players physically mature, the size of the ball and the length of the match will increase until they are playing with a full-size #5 ball and playing 45-minute halves.

Teams

Rosters are released to coaches in July. No changes will be made to rosters other than the addition of late registrants if space is available. U13-U19 teams play a full 11-a-side game and have a maximum roster size of 18 players.

Age Groups Age Chart

Recreation soccer is for U13 through U19, typically 7th through 12th grade.

Season and Time Commitment

The Recreational teams will start practicing twice a week in early August. League starts September 8th/9th (weekend after Labor Day) to mid-November. Games are typically held on Saturdays. However, the older boys and girls teams typically play Sundays due to field availability. More information on what age groups play Saturday vs Sunday. 10 total games played.

Volunteer Coaches

Every team will have a volunteer coach. Coaches don't have to have past soccer experience as the EYSA Director of Coaching will be showing the coaches what they need to do with their teams each week and will provide instruction and training to coaches. Coaches need to have enthusiasm and a willingness to be at practice each session.
