As a member of many organizations, such as the Eastside Youth Soccer Association, Washington Youth Soccer, US Soccer, and more - we abide by many governing documents and policies intended to ensure clarity, consistency, and accountability.
Issaquah FC-Specific
Stance on Social Equity: Issaquah FC joins with Washington Youth Soccer (WYS) and Eastside Youth Soccer Association (EYSA) in supporting and pursuing social diversity throughout our programs. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment with equal access to our programs, facilities and resources for all youth within our boundaries without bias towards race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, income level, social status or national origin. Traditionally, most athletic programs are offered separately for boys and girls; however, in addition, Issaquah FC will provide all athletes with the opportunity to participate in Club programs consistent with their gender identity or the gender most consistently expressed. Issaquah FC believes that soccer is a game for all kids as we strive to make our community stronger by embracing our diversity and promoting inclusivity and equitable service.

Lightning Safety Policy: The official policy of WYS and EYSA is based on the NOAA recommendations for safety found here: Lightning Safety Policy. If lightning is sighted and/or thunder heard, practices and games should be paused and all players vacated to a safe shelter. No play should be resumed until both thunder and lightning have passed and been gone for at least 30 minutes.
