HOW PLAYER REGISTRATION WORKS

Player registration within the Eastside Youth Soccer Association (EYSA) is managed by each individual club. EYSA Club Registrars work hard for several months each spring to prepare for registration. We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers handling this time-consuming and challenging task - please remember to thank them when you see them!

REGISTRATION TIMING

Issaquah FC opens registration in alignment with the other EYSA clubs, on April 1st for Select Tryouts and Fall Recreational Soccer. Be sure to register early, as spots fill quickly! Recreational soccer registration closes on May 31st, after which players are accepted on a space-available basis. Returning players should register before May 31st to secure their place on last year’s team.

PROOF OF BIRTH

For first-time Issaquah FC registrations, a certified birth certificate is required to provide proof of age and gender for appropriate team placement. (Hospital or baptismal certificates are not accepted.) Military IDs and passports are also acceptable. Certified birth certificates can be obtained from the player’s birth state and may be uploaded during registration or added later in your member account.

Refer to our Age Chart to see how birth years align with teams.

Each of our programs have different uniform and equipment distribution.

  • Micro Soccer (U5-U7): Micro soccer players receive a full uniform kit including a jersey, shorts, socks and a #3 size ball!

  • Select Soccer (U9-U19): Team equipment (game ball, practice cones, etc.) are provided, but players will have to purchase their uniform and accessories.

Each player is required to provide their own soccer cleats, shin guards, and for U8 and above, an appropriately sized ball. Players should also bring a water bottle to every game and practice.
