RECREATIONAL SOCCER

Recreational soccer is for kids of all ages and skill levels. It focuses on participation, enjoyment, and building soccer skills. Many recreational players on a team go to the same school. It’s a great way for beginner or veteran players to participate in soccer without a major commitment or cost.

Notably, there are no tryouts and the season is 3-4 months long in the Fall.

There are different age-appropriate recreational programs: Micro, MOD, and Full-Sided. In soccer, ages are labeled using a “U#” format—so, for example, a 6-year-old would be in the U7 group. Check out our Age Chart, which is based on birth year, to find the right recreational program for your child.

MICRO SOCCER

For U5-U7 kids. Small teams meet once a week on Saturday for 8 weeks, with practices and games combined.

MODIFIED (MOD) SOCCER

For kids U8 through U12. Age-appropriate team sizes, field sizes, and rules. Practices during the week locally, games on the weekend.

FULL FIELD SOCCER

For kids U13-U19. Full sized field of 11v11, playing other local teams throughout the season.
