U13-U19 RECREATIONAL FULL-SIDED FALL SOCCER PROGRAM

Recreation soccer is for older players who are ready for full-sided soccer. They play 11v11 and adhere all of the Laws of the Game. As players physically mature, the size of the ball and the length of the match will increase until they are playing with a full-size #5 ball and playing 45-minute halves.

Registration has closed, but you can request to be on the waiting list.

TEAMS

Rosters are released to coaches in late July. No changes will be made to rosters other than the addition of late registrants if space is available. U13-U19 teams play a full 11-a-side game and have a maximum roster size of 18 players.

Please refer to our Age chart for age level based on birth year.

Recreational Full-Sided soccer is for U13 through U19, typically 7th through 12th grade.

SEASON AND TIME COMMITMENT

The Recreational teams will start practicing twice a week in mid August. League starts September 10th/11th (weekend after Labor Day) to mid-November. Games are typically held on Saturdays. However, the older boys and girls teams typically play Sundays due to field availability. More information on what age groups play Saturday vs Sunday.

10 total games played.

VOLUNTEER COACHES

Every team will have a volunteer coach. Coaches don't have to have past soccer experience. Coaches need to have enthusiasm and a willingness to be at practice each session.

UNIFORMS

As part of their registration, Rec players will receive an official Issaquah FC uniform kit including jersey, shorts and socks. Parents are responsible for the following additional equipment:

  • Shin guards. All players MUST have shin guards to play in any practices or games.

  • Shoes. Cleats are preferable because they grip the wet grass and are good for lateral movement.
